I grew up around Morley, my parents bought their first house on Guildford road.  My father still lives there today.

When I attended John Forrest Senior High School I never thought one day I would represent the area in Parliament. It was very exciting to go to the year 12 graduation this year as the local Labor MP.

I live in Dianella with my children Hugo and Chloe and Partner Phil.  We are often out at local parks like Dianella Open Space where you’ll find my family swinging, climbing and walking our dog Magda.

For the last three years, I have represented you in the Legislative Council. I have fought the Barnett Government on their cuts to health and education.

After watching the Liberal Government neglect residents in Morley, Noranda, Dianella and Nollamara, I have decided to resign from the Legislative Council and run for the State electorate of Morley. I know Western Australians can’t afford another four years under a Liberal Government.

In Morley there have been cuts to schools and health, no plan for jobs, no action on public transport or vital infrastructure and too many broken promises.

“I want to fix these issues by fighting for the right priorities for the people of Morley.”

Over the next few months, I am going to be knocking on doors and phoning you to hear about your priorities and talk to you about my plan. In the meantime, don't hesitate to contact me.

What will a Labor Government do for you?

  • Deliver on public transport. Mark McGowan and WA Labor will build METRONET, an integrated transport system to fix Perth’s growing congestion problems. METRONET will bring a train line to Morley.
  • Create more jobs. The people of our electorate will benefit from WA's investment in infrastructure. In particular local jobs will be created with the delivery of a train line to Morley.
  • Improve education outcomes for kids. WA Labor will put more Education Assistants back into our public school classrooms.
  • Put patients first. WA Labor will deliver Urgent Care Clinics to reduce wait-lists and relieve pressure on our emergency departments.
  • Will not privatise Western Power This will ensure we keep the revenue to pay for nurses, teachers and police.
